Information about your PT requirements
We do not have a set minimum number of observation hours. However, we do strongly recommend students try to obtain some observation hours or exposure to the profession. We will also accept telehealth and/or virtual observation hours. Observation hours should focus on the quality of the experience, not the number of hours as overall number of hours is not a deciding factor for admissions. The selection committee uses observation hours to see if you have a basic understanding/knowledge of the profession before committing to the rigorous process of attaining a physical therapy degree.
