Additional information about program's GRE requirements
* We require completion of the GRE with scores received to PTCAS no later than September 1, 2022. We recognize that some testing facilities have been closed resulting in scheduled test dates being canceled or postponed. In these cases, we will accept the new at-home GRE testing being offered by ETS in place of in-person exams.

* To be considered for admission, an applicant must obtain a minimum score of 296 on the GRE revised General Test. The total score is calculated from the verbal and quantitative portions of the GRE that are obtained at one sitting of the exam. These scores must be submitted with the score from the Analytical Writing Assessment portion of the exam. Only scores from the GRE revised General Test will be accepted. The GRE must be taken early enough to ensure that the scores are received by PTCAS no later than September 1, 2022. We STRONGLY recommend not taking the GRE later than August 1, 2022 to ensure delivery of official GRE scores to PTCAS by September 1, 2022.

Additional information about program's reference requirements
* The only references that are required/accepted are those from physical therapists under whom an applicant has obtained the required 60 hours of observation. Applicants may obtain observation hours at multiple sites, but for the hours to satisfy the requirement, a minimum of 30 hours must be obtained at a site. We require a reference from each physical therapist under whom an applicant has obtained at least 30 hours of observation experience.

* If less than 30 hours is obtained at a site, those hours cannot be used towards the 60 hour requirement and a PTCAS reference form is not required.

* The hours can be obtained either as a paid employee or as a volunteer.

* The physical therapy reference must use the PTCAS Reference Forms. Letters from other types of evaluators will not be accepted as a fulfillment of this requirement.

* The only supervisor/employer reference forms that we will accept are from physical therapists under whom the applicant has worked as a paid PT technician and not from any other type of employment.

These forms are due to PTCAS by September 1, 2022.

You must complete the remaining 30 hours and submit the corresponding documentation by December 1, 2022.

* The applicant must have documented at least 60 clock hours of practical experience in physical therapy under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

* Applicants may obtain observation hours at multiple sites, but for the hours to satisfy the requirement, a minimum of 30 hours must be obtained at a site.

 * The hours can be obtained either as a paid employee or as a volunteer.

* For each site where a minimum of 30 hours is obtained, the supervising physical therapist must verify the hours and must also provide a PTCAS reference.

* If less than 30 hours is obtained at a site, those hours cannot be used towards the 60 hour minimum requirement.
