Communication / Speech / Public Speaking
The program desires that each applicant has experience in giving oral presentations such as are required in a Speech course. However, the Department recognizes that many institutions integrate oral communication throughout their curriculum. If the applicant feels that they have given several presentations, this requirement might be waived. The applicant may email Heather Hebron-Roybal at hhebron@llu.edu and outline the presentations given - title, length of presentation, grade received in presentation, etc. This information will be evaluated to determine if the requirement can be waived.
