Description of supplemental materials required
a) As a first step, create the Standard online PTCAS application. IMPORTANT: You must create your PTCAS application first, as the Supplemental GW online application requires that you enter your unique PTCAS ID number (this is noted as the CAS ID under your Supplemental GW online application).

b) As a second step, complete the Supplemental GW online application, found at: You will need to create a new account to proceed with the the Supplemental GW online application.  

Admissions review typically begins in September and completed applications are reviewed as they are received using a modified rolling admissions format (application admission decisions are made on a rolling basis through the spring).

In the "Catalog Course Descriptions" document area, you may upload course catalog information, including course descriptions and links, for any specific prerequisite courses that you would like to clarify (i.e., English/Writing courses taken outside of an English department that may be classified as "Writing in the Discipline" under your institution's course catalog).

If the GRE test is taken more than once, test scores are not averaged. The highest score for each section of the GRE, from any one testing date, is considered. Please enter self-reported scores on your PTCAS application AND submit official GRE test scores to the George Washington University electronically via ETS University code 5246 by the application deadline. The ETS University GRE code submits your scores directly to the George Washington University.

PTCAS does not track receipt of official GRE scores on behalf of GW, so you will need to track your score receipt under your GW Online Supplemental Application. Once you submit your supplemental GW Online Supplemental Application, please wait 4-5 business days for the system to reconcile your application record with the electronic GRE score report you submitted via ETS to GW institutional code 5246.

*The GW DPT Program requires two reference letters including one from a licensed physical therapist.  Letters of recommendation from family members and friends WILL NOT be accepted.
