* The inpatient observation hour requirement will be waived for the 2020-2021 application cycle. * Applicants who do have any opportunity to complete their 16 hours of inpatient observation should submit their verifications on PTCAS, as directed in the application. However, these hours are not required. * Despite waiving the inpatient observation requirement, applicants need a total of 80 observation hours within at least 2 different settings, with a minimum of 16 hours in each. * 80 hours of volunteer or paid experience in at least THREE different practice environments, under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, are required before submitting your application. Applicants will be asked to describe how their observation hours took place in at least THREE different practice environments and the differences between the settings. Some example practice environments include home health, inpatient hospital, outpatient orthopaedic care, or pediatric school based rehabilitation.
* Program uses only the highest grade earned in its prerequisite GPA calculations if a course was repeated. Prerequisite courses older than 10 years must be retaken. * All CR/NCR grading will be accepted for courses taken during the Spring 2020 semester.
