Interviews for the DPT program are held on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus by invitation only. Interviews are scheduled for January 8 and 9, 2021. The interview is a full-day experience on campus. An interview is required to be offered admission to the Program. All applicants are required to participate in CASPer and pay the supplemental fee by the October 1, 2020 deadline. DPT/PhD degree option provides students with the opportunity to become doctorally prepared Physical Therapist clinicians (DPT) and Rehabilitation Scientists (PhD) in tandem. Admission to the DPT does not guarantee admission to the PhD - an additional application for the PhD will be required later. Any applicant interested in this dual degree option MUST have previous research experience and MUST respond to the additional essay question in this application. All requirements for the DPT applicants also apply to the DPT/PhD applicant. Applicants who indicate interest in this dual degree option will also be part of the DPT applicant pool. For questions or additional information on the PhD component, contact Program Administrator: Kenton Owsley at kenton.owsley@ucdenver.edu or 303-724-3468.PT Preview Day is a separate event that offers an introduction to the Program curriculum, admissions process, and financial aid. It is appropriate for those applying during the upcoming cycle and those planning to apply in the future. Information regarding the date and registration can be found on our Program website.
