Program Description

The Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program is a campus-based program located in the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Ft. Lauderdale. 

The 3-year program includes 34 weeks of full time clinical training. Student-learning experiences occur in a combination of traditional instruction, case-based interactive learning, and clinical lab skills training. Clinical education training begins in the fall semester of year one. Students are admitted in the summer semester and graduates are awarded a DPT degree upon satisfactory completion of all requirements.

Faculty and students are committed to active participation in the profession, scholarship and service. Students are exposed to serving community populations, including the medically under-served and uninsured, through service learning and clinical education experiences.

* Acceptance Fee - $500.00: This fee is required to reserve the accepted applicant's place in the entering  first-year class. 

* Deposit Fee - $500.00: This fee is due by March 30 and is under the same terms as the acceptance fee.
