Langston University, shared an update PostedThursday, October 1, 2020 at 11:12 AM Due to potential restrictions on observation hours during the COVID-19 pandemic, applicants may submit proof of knowledge of the profession of physical therapy in lieu of observation hours. Proof of knowledge may be demonstrated by researching diverse areas of PT practice on the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) website and submitting a two-paragraph summary. Topics to research include descriptions of PT practice settings, various patient populations seen in PT, and APTA sections representing special interest areas. Helpful areas on the website include: https://www.apta.org/your-practice/practice-models-and-settings https://www.choosept.com/aboutptsptas/default.aspx Links to APTA section websites: https://aptaapps.apta.org//componentconnection/chaptersandsections.aspx?UniqueKey= Due to potential restrictions on observation hours during the COVID-19 pandemic, applicants may submit proof of knowledge of the profession of physical therapy in lieu of observation hours.
