Program Description

Our Mission: The mission of the College of Physical Therapy is to prepare physical therapists to meet the health and wellness needs of their community through innovative practice, passionate commitment, the pursuit of excellence, and generous service.

Some highlights of our program include:

  • Accelerated program timeline which allows students to complete their degree in two and a half years, providing the opportunity to take the NPTE in January of the third year and enter the job market months before other programs finish
  • Brand new, state-of-the-art facility which includes a health and wellness center/physical therapy clinic, a 19-camera motion capture/sports biomechanics laboratory, a cadaver anatomy lab, and spaces that incorporate diagnostic ultrasound and virtual reality
  • Small cohort size allowing for close relationships among students and support from professors
  • Local and global service opportunities including an optional service trip to Uganda after the second year

We're leading the nation in the areas of primary care, holistic patient care, and research that moves the field of physical therapy forward. At George Fox, we are serious about training the next generation of physical therapists to not only practice at the top of their license, but to find greater purpose in providing the highest quality care for their patients.
