Franklin Pierce University gives back to the community by participating in various service opportunities throughout the year. During the City of Goodyear Day of Service, our DPT students worked with Grand Canyon University’s Pre-PT Club to repaint fire hydrants around the community to ensure that they are better seen when needed!

It’s intensive lab week at our Goodyear, AZ academic center! Our DPT students are on-site in our labs practicing clinical skills and performing evaluations/treatment. These intensive labs are key for gaining hands-on experience, as well as demonstrating skills they have learned during both synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.

Are you interested in community service? At Franklin Pierce University, we are deeply committed to giving back to the community. With the help of our DPT student volunteer coordinators, DPT students have the opportunity to work with a number of community organizations during their time in the program. 

A few weeks ago, our DPT students volunteered at St. Mary’s Food Bank in Central Phoenix, helping to package food items that were donated from Hello Fresh.  They helped to assemble over 2,000 meal bags for families in need in the surrounding community!
