Do you want to receive the knowledge and skills necessary to make a difference in someone's life? Do you want to attend a program that ensures students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to be part of a successful healthcare team? Do you want a program that takes an interprofessional approach to education resulting in more competent clinicians and better healthcare delivery? If you answered "YES" to these questions, Emory & Henry College's DPT Program is the program for "YOU!"

Application Instructions:

  • Complete the PTCAS application and submit with the appropriate fees
  • Request official transcripts be sent to PTCAS
  • Request official GRE scores be sent to Emory & Henry College (GRE code is 1613)
  • Complete the Emory & Henry College Supplemental Application and pay the nonrefundable $30 application fee

Admission Requirements:

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with either a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 (based on a 4.0 scale) or last 45 hours GPA of 2.75. A minimum cumulative prerequisite GPA of 3.0.
  • A minimum of 40 hours of clinical experience (volunteer or work-related) with a licensed physical therapist. Hours do not have to be completed by the time of submission.
  • Official transcripts
  • Official GRE scores

Application Deadlines:

  • Early Decision - August 15, 2022
  • Regular Decision - December 1, 2022

After the application deadline, selected students will be invited for an on-site interview. It is highly encouraged to visit campus if you are selected for an on-site interview. We feel it is important for you to see our facilities and meet our wonderful faculty, staff, and students. A Zoom interview may be considered on a case by case basis.
