PT applicants to APU's 2022 entering class can apply between Nov 1, 2020 and May 15, 2021 using the 2020-21 PTCAS application *OR* June 15, 2021 and Oct 15, 2021 using the 2021-22 PTCAS application.The PTCAS application is closed between May 15 and June 15 every year. Apply only once to an entering class. APU will not reconsider applicants who apply to the same entering class twice and PTCAS will not issue a refund for this reason.
The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is a 36-month (including summers), entry-level professional program emphasizing the scientific basis of human structure and human movement, the spiritual basis of human worth, and the integration of these foundational elements into a comprehensive and problem-solving, evidence- and consensus-based approach to artful evaluation and skillful treatment. Graduates have a solid generalist perspective of patient care in a variety of professional treatment settings with a strong foundation for post-professional specialization and lifelong learning.All applications, whether before May 15, 2021 or after June 15, 2021 but before Oct 15, 2021 will be considered for the class entering Jan 2022.
All admitted students must officially accept their offer of admission by submitting a non-refundable deposit to reserve a seat; deposit will be applied to first term's tuition. *The deposit is due within 10 days of receipt of the acceptance letter.
