Biography

Tracy A. Thomas, PT, DPT, Ph.D. is a Tenured Professor and the Director of the Physical Therapy Division in the School of Allied Health Sciences at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). Her research interests include the impact of pharmacological agents on physical therapy outcomes, specifically in the racial disparities for treatment of cardiovascular disease, women's health, sickle cell, and metabolic syndrome. Dr. Thomas is currently a 2022-2023 cohort member of the APTA Fellowship in Higher Education.
